A grocery shop design based on an autonomous retail platform.

The store and the product selling system are designed to sell products and food that require dry storage, refrigeration and freezing. All this within an automatic management and billing system without the need for a cash register or employees.

The design process included the characterization of space and usage scenarios in accordance with the technological requirements taking, always, into account the behavior of the consumers. The store allows the retailer to have a store that includes infrastructures without the need of construction and run it without the need for daily service and operation personnel and with automatic, remote inventory management. The space is designed as modular so that the designations of the spaces can be changed without changing the infrastructure along with the possibility of customizing the store and the product display. From a design point of view, it was important for us to create a light, inviting, modern and comfortable atmosphere.
