Hanukkah menorah
A metal menorah designed for the Alef fonts (originally אאא) brand that creates original and high-quality Hebrew typography. The brand creates Hebrew fonts that combine design styles and local contexts and draws inspiration from contemporary Israeli culture and Hebrew nostalgia.
This menorah takes its inspiration from the combination of the holidays Hanukkah and Christmas, which are celebrated at the same time of year. The deer as an animal attributed to the Land of Israel and mentioned in the Bible together with the ram, attributed to Christmas, joined together into a common image.
In a world of blurring identities, the two religious symbols united into one figure. The curling horns, which are intertwined and form a nine-branch menorah, hide the first letter in the Hebrew language – א and the brand name and the brand name of the customer.
The menorah is made of bent sheet metal and was manufactured in Israel as a limited edition.
