Product and mechanical design for a device enabling remote management of satellite antenna dishes installations. In this project, we designed a device with a dedicated smartphone app enabling it to be used as a tool for remote management of the installation of satellite antenna dishes. This device allows installers and DTH operators to control and manage the quality of their antenna installation operations. It combines and replaces 3 professional devices and includes a unique installation wizard that produces comprehensive reports at the click of a button. At the back of the product, we have placed a dedicated interface supporting the securing of an external battery if necessary. For safety and convenience, the product can be worn with a neck strap to free the installer’s hands while working on ladders and rooftops. The project also included the design of the dedicated carrying case and the product packaging.

The project was realized for INVERTO, a leading manufacturer of satellite TV hardware and streaming solutions. The company provides hardware and software solutions to leading media broadcasting organizations around the world. INVERTO is located and operates from Luxembourg.
